Holiday in the UK during Coronavirus, safely at Driftaway

So, you can book just one of the two tents we have on site, either the yurt or the safari tent (2 adults and 2 children in each). Or, if you have a large or extended family and friends that wishes to isolate together, then you can book both tents and even bring your own extra tent (up to a maximum of 12 people in total) .  But we will not allow other visitors or guests to stay during your own time at Driftaway.

In this way, you have the entire meadow and woodlands to yourselves with no one but your own party using the shower, toilets, washing facilities, fridge and other shared items.  We are also supplying cleaning products and antibacterial spray, as well as hand sanitiser (subject to availability).  Bedding, as always, is provided, but this year we are asking that you please bring your own towels.

For our part, we will respect social distancing and keep our distance from your party throughout your stay.  In fact, other than a brief moment during check in when we can show you round and explain things from a distance, there should be very little need for any contact whatsoever. If you feel more comfortable, we can also wear gloves and masks.

With these arrangements in place during the COVID-19 lockdown, you can still holiday in the UK this year. We therefore hope you will find Driftaway Glamping to be the ideal place to enjoy a secluded holiday this year, despite the difficulties that coronavirus presents.

If you are wondering where you can go on holiday safely this year in Britain due to the coronavirus outbreak, we have a solution for you.

At Driftaway Camping in Somerset we have arranged for your stay to be worry free and for you to feel as safe as possible during the Coronavirus epidemic.

That’s why we are only allowing one family, group or party at a time to stay on site, thereby allowing you to remain shielded and isolated.

The Driftaway Glamping site is secluded as it is and with no one else around, you should be safe and isolated at all times.
